After a brilliant, accomplished, and ethical professional career, Lee A. Gould, founding member of Gould & Pakter Associates, LLC, recently announced his retirement.
In his 40-plus-year career, starting as a staff accountant at a Big Eight firm and culminating with taking the helm as G&P’s Managing Member, Lee added Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified in Financial Forensics, Accredited in Business Valuation, and Juris Doctor to his too-many-to-list professional and non-professional achievements. Even more than that, Lee added trusted friends, grateful clients, and deeply appreciative professional associates.
In addition to serving as President of both the Digestive Health Foundation and the GI Research Foundation at the University of Chicago, Lee was President of the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois, a member of the Illinois Gaming Board (appointed by the Governor of the State of Illinois), a member of the AICPA Council, and Chair of the Illinois CPA Society ( which later awarded him its prestigious and most-well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award).
While no longer actively working, Lee will continue to support G&P in its ongoing endeavors as our Partner Emeritus. G&P, in turn, will carry on Lee’s legacy of professional excellence by continuing to provide all our clients with ongoing financial forensics, commercial litigation services, internal investigations, and financial analysis of disputes; the calculation of economic damages, lost profits/earnings, insurance claims, and earn-outs; and the valuation of closely held businesses for shareholder litigation, family law services, bankruptcy, business litigation, and estate and gift tax compliance.
Coinciding with Lee’s retirement, G&P will have a new address: 203 North LaSalle Street, Suite 2100, Chicago, Illinois 60601. Our phone numbers and email addresses are unchanged.
