Lee focuses on valuations of closely held businesses, damages determination and forensic accounting investigations. He has almost 40 years of experience in diverse engagements in numerous industries. Lee has testified in Federal and State courts and participated in alternative dispute resolutions. He has been recognized as an expert in business valuations, damages, forensic accounting, financial analysis and asset tracing analyses.
Lee has experience in business valuations for family law proceedings, estate and gift tax compliance purposes and shareholder dissent and oppression matters. He provides litigation consulting services for middle-market, closely held businesses.
Lee determines lost profits and other economic damages calculations in litigated business disputes and provides forensic accounting and financial analysis to assist in locating unreported or hidden assets. He also, in a variety of litigation support engagements, determines the source and/or flow of funds used to acquire assets, examines financial transactions and prepares cash flow analyses.
Lee is a Certified Public Accountant registered and licensed in the State of Illinois and a Certified Fraud Examiner. The AICPA has additionally recognized him as Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Champaign and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.
Lee is active in numerous professional, philanthropic, community and other associations and organizations including the Digestive Health Foundation, the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois and the Illinois CPA Society.
